It might be interesting for listeners to hear some of the behind the scenes info on how a podcast is made and distributed, and how that led to now. I don't really understand it. Who owns the IP? What do the producers do? It sounds like it is so easy to launch a podcast that anyone can do it, so what does (did) a network like Nebulous provide? Especially since you never had ads on the pod - I could see if the network sold and placed ads on the show. Just a thought to give us listeners something to keep us satiated while the pod finds a new home. What about Ricochet as a new home, since they host so many other like-minded podcasts?
This show has been my happy place for many years now! I always “save” the episodes for when I’m feeling down and they never fail to cheer me up. I’m a single grad student who is often nomadic outside the US due to research and listening to your podcast is like taking a bit of home along. Your personal stories and banter always make me smile. If you guys didn’t come back, it would leave a hole in my life instead of a source of joy.
Getting Hammered has been my go-to podcast for drives to and from work and is my all-time favorite podcast. You guys are the best! Until y’all find a new home, Megyn Kelly, Karol Markowicz, Link Lauren, Meghan McCain, and Guy Benson will get a little more of my attention. Lots of suggestions for the future of Getting Hammered.
